Elk Valley Casino Extends Closure to April 30, 2020

In response to the ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, the Elk Valley Rancheria Tribal Council is extending the closure of the Elk Valley Casino through April 30, 2020. A re-open date will be evaluated throughout this closure.


The Tribe is committed to supporting our team members and their families as much as possible during this difficult time. All team members will continue to be paid and receive benefits during this extension.


The Elk Valley team will continue to closely monitor and analyze the situation on a daily basis as the health and safety of our team members, guests, tribal members, and community is our top priority.


We thank the entire Elk Valley team and all of our guests for their support and patience during this unprecedented time.

Q: What if my slot machine cash out voucher expires while Elk Valley Casino is temporarily closed?
A: We are extending the expiration date for slot machine cash out vouchers if the voucher expiration date occurs between February 18 to March 18, 2020.

Q: What happens to my offers while you’re closed? / Will I get new offers once you’re open again?
A: Once Elk Valley Casino resumes daily operations, you will continue receiving your offers and invitations. New offers and invitations will be issued once our temporary closure concludes.


Q: Are your March and April casino promotions & events all cancelled?
A: Yes all March and April casino promotions & events are cancelled during this temporary closure period.

Q: When are you reopening?
A: Elk Valley Casino management will closely monitor the situation and follow guidance from the CDC, WHO and the State of California. Throughout this closure, we will continue to keep our valued guests updated on what’s happening here at the casino. We will provide notice to our valued guests via website, email and social media.

Q: Are you cleaning the casino?
A: Yes, for several weeks now, we has increased preventative measures including increasing cleaning schedules, making sanitization stations available throughout the property and issuing guidance to team members to promote social distancing. While the casino is temporarily closed, we are also scheduling a deep cleaning of the property, sanitizing all areas of the property.

Q: What if I had a Birthday offer to redeem during the closure?
A: If you had a birthday in March and were not able to use your offer, we will issue you another birthday offer to you upon reopening.
